What's on offer...
Here at On the Rocks, we are dedicated to creating memorable experiences for your functions and special events.
We offer a thoughtfully designed split layout that provides you and your guests with exclusive function area, access to a dedicated bar, dance floor, and seating areas, available both indoors and outdoors. Our outdoor space is equipped with a seasonal stretch tent for enhanced comfort.
To secure your preferred date, a deposit of £100 is required, and we kindly request that guests arrive by 8 PM. The deposit will then be refunded after the event as long as there are no issues or incidents.

Buffet Service
Here at On the Rocks we allow functions to bring their own food, or hire catering services if preferred.
But we are the full package, with four "finger" buffet menus that can be provide for your special occasions. Please let us know when booking if food will be brought by yourself, outsourced or if you'd like us to provide our finger buffet service. Alternatively, not all occasions require food and any of your guests are more than welcome to grab a takeaway to eat in your function area during your event if they desired.

Entertainment
To make your function everything you visualise, let's talk Entertainment. For all functions booked, we offer the ability to send us your very own Spotify playlist which we will then play for the evening. Why get stuck with tunes you hate, when you can play your very own taste!
At this time this is the only music streaming provider that is compatible with our system, if you don't have Spotify we can also find you a party playlist for the night.
Want to make your event extra special?
We do offer DJ and/or Karaoke services, for a fee of £295 for the evening. With this service starting at 8pm and finishing around Midnight, when we close.
These services depend on availability, so please discuss this with us when booking so that there's no disappointment.
How many Guests can I Invite...?
For the half Venue hire option, which was described above, the minimum amount of guests in attendance would have to be 40, with a maximum of 130.
The amount of outside seating included in your venue hire would depend on the number of guests invited/in attendance.
For numbers exceeding 130 guests, we recommend discussing the entire venue hire option, so that we can host your special occasions comfortably!
We do also require the guests are to arrive no later than 8pm, to bring IDs and not to consume alcohol from outside the venue in our premise.
Remember, In order to book we require a £100 deposit - so make sure you have that card at the ready to secure your date!
We like to make everyone aware that we reserve the right to refuse entry to any host or guests who turn up already overly intoxicated, or who behave inappropriately.
This is for the safety of not only all our guests and staff, but also to protect that individual.
Decorations...
On the Rocks has very quirky and flamboyant decor as it is, so a lot of the special occasions held here choose not to bring any. However, if you would like to bring decorations... What we recommend are banners and helium balloons. If dropped off in advance, we will even make sure the room is decorated before arrival.
The one thing which we Do Not allow... is confetti in any form (and loose glitter), whether this is loose, in balloons or in party poppers and cannons.
It probably seems silly, however confetti and glitter like this add an extra hour (if not more!) to our close down period, and tend to stain flooring and furniture. We appreciate your understanding in advance.
Age Policy
As our venue has an over 21s policy in the evenings, and with being a Cocktail bar. We aren't necessarily the appropriate venue for children. However, this can be discussed with the General manager when booking.
Please let us know the age range of the guests you wish to invite, and we can go from there.
Also, please inform your guests that ID is required to be in the venue.
