Karaoke
Join us at On The Rocks for our favorite activity: karaoke! Enjoy a lively karaoke afternoon every Saturday from 3 PM 5:30 PM, and don’t miss our karaoke nights every Wednesday at 9 PM. Come on down, sing heart out, and feel free to dress up—fancy dress is encouraged! We can't wait to see you there!
Comedy Night
Every month here at On the Rocks, we host a comedy night. On the last Thursday of every month, we host this event of new and upcoming comedians- selected by a talent scout based in Bristol.
On this day the venue if closed for the duration of the show, tickets are needed to get access to the premise. We reopen again once the acts have all performed.
Currently tickets are £10 per person.

Halloween is one of the favourite holidays for our team, here at On the Rocks.
Halloween parties are a big must here, with Halloween 2024 being the best yet.
Spooky or cute? What is your go to for halloween fancy dress...?
This year we did four days of Halloween celebrations- Every one got involved, with different vibes for our community. Including a Halloween KIDS party on the Sunday, which went down a smash!
ABBA TRIBUTE NIGHT
ABBA TRIBUTE NIGHT WAS THE FIRST BIG EVENT HELD AT ON THE ROCKS COCKTAIL BAR, CHEDDAR. THIS MASSIVE ABBA THEMED PARTY WAS A FUNDRAISER EVENT HELD SATURDAY 10TH AUGUST 2024.
THIS WAS ORGANISED BY THE OWNER OF THE VENUE TO SUPPORT A LOCAL FAMILY AND THEIR GOAL TO GET A DEFIB INSTALLED INTO THE GORGE.

TINA AND HER FAMILY ARE DEAR FRIENDS OF THE ON THE ROCKS FAMILY. THE LOSS OF HER HUSBAND LEFT A VOID IN THE CHEDDAR COMMUNITY.
THIS EVENT AND ALL TINA'S RAFFLE PRIZES, HELPED RAISE ENOUGH MONEY TO GET THREE DEFIBS!
80's REWIND NIGHT
THINK ABBA TRIBUTE NIGHT BUT BIGGER... BETTER... WE WENT ALL OUT FOR OUR THREE DAY FUNDRAISER IN 2025, FRIDAY 15 TO SUNDAY 17 AUGUST 2025.
ON FRIDAY, WE HAD THE FUNKYDILLIES PERFORMING LIVE. ON SATURDAY, WE HAD THE MASSIVE 80'S REWIND PARTY AND ON THE SUNDAY, WE HAD A BBQ, AUCTION AND RAFFLE. THIS WAS TO CONTINUE RAISING MONEY FOR THE JIM SALWAY COMMUNITY FUNDRIASER WHICH AIMS TO GET DEFIBS INTO LOCAL COMMUNITIES.

This summer at On the Rocks Cheddar, we had the pleasure of hosting Somerset's very own 10-piece funk band, The Funkydillies for an unforgettable live performance. Their infectious energy and tunes had everyone dancing and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. It was a night filled with great music, good vibes, and fantastic company. We can't wait to bring more events your way!

This July at On The Rocks, we had the pleasure of hosting the Funkydillies' very own Ryan Cross, who performed live solo for the first time in our venue! Ugly Sweater party
Every season, the boss tries to hold a party of some form to make life a little more interesting for our locals.
December of 2024, we held a Ugly Sweater party which smashed it out of the park!
Some true works of art were being worn that night. We cannot thank our locals and new customers for supporting us through the festive season. Everyone sure did make our year amazing!
Christmas
TOY DRIVE
For Christmas of 2024, we held a Toy drive. The idea was to collect donations for children who are less fortunate than us.
Honestly, we were very overwhelmed by how many people donated gifts! Truly, it was AMAZING!
A wonderful local woman helped us distribute these gifts to those who really needed, and appreciate them.

Masquerade NYE party
We know that New Year's Eve tends to be a little disappointing... everyone hypes it up or we just leave plans to the last minute.
But here at On the Rocks, cheddar- We did a ticketed Masquerade party for the new year of 2024.
We had a live singer and Nigel in his element, DJ-ing in the New Year.
All our locals had a blast... as did our team!
